Okay. This is a great website, but i didnt see a lot of emergancy hotlines for ppl living in the UK, and there are a lot of UK users on this website paprika!!!
Here are the 2 main numbers for help. Please can Paprika move them to the emergancy hotlines center on the main home page. thanks.

The Samaritans (talk to sumbody for the cost of a local call)

0845 790 9090

Child line (talk to sumone for FREE about abuse, bullying, depression, anything - in my opinion this is the best helpline for teens out there! use it all UK ppl)

0800 1111

Yes they are good helplines, but drastically under-funded. Only 1 in 4 calls gets through to Childline. The Samaritans are better, I think, mainly cos they rely on unpaid volunteers. But my main problem with them is that they are sworn to secercy whatever... so even if you phone and say you're about to murder you're whole family they'll do nothing. Oh well, nothings perfect.

And SIAM is setting up SIS in July. Which is Suicide & Injury Support.

It aims to provide a 24/7 one-on-one chat service, using MSN until we get something better.

It's world wide of course, but we are based in the UK. :)
