Im not sure if this is in the right topic but....
Does anyone else um cant explain but like escape into their own little world, where they are someone else and spend more and more time in 'that world' than the real one? Like a little world in your head.
I do this more and more, i have done now for about 6 years and i really want to stop but because i have anxiety attacks i find it hard to go out places with friends so they have stopped phoning etc, so i have nothing to do so i sit and listen to music and escape.
Anyone else do this, or something similar?

Could you ever be certain? That is a hypothetical question. Suppose they do.

Sleep. Although I'm not really contious during my sleep to 'enjoy' it, it is one of the few things that actually take me away.

It's called Dissociation.
You disconnect with yourself and drift off.
There's link on here for it...

yeah so do i but i know it's not really happening & escapism isn't just like daydreaming it's like talking about something all the time like you were really there or never shutting up about celebs.
