Hey people!!!!!
i was talking to my mate the other day and he didnt understand some of the words i was using.i was just wondering if there was any words that ya'l used that other people dont understand......just a bit of fun really....
for example we call the police the 5-0 or if your from further north we call them the pigs.
any words you can think of?

well s**** er what does that mean Im sorry paprika if she has to swear but I cant figure it out. we call watching out for cops/teachers keeping six, but other then that I dont know much, perhaps some drug lingo but you guys dont want to hear that.
Gnome is your accent like a southern boomhower from king of the hill type deal.

Boomhower? Nah, I could never speak that quickly. I can understand every word he says, though ;)
I think I'd be more like Hank, in terms of speech patterns, though he definitely has a much more Southern accent. I think the midwest has an accent all of its own :P
The only thing i get caught doing is using french or german phrases with people who don't understand them... *heh*:quiet:

Me and my friends speak in Japanese so often I''l be cought saying "gomen" for sorry or "hai" for yes
also I say shuh since we're not allowed to say shut up in school

I occasionally respond in spanish, such as gracious for thank you and de nada for sorry. Gnome can you think of any movies or shows with a midwestern accent. I dont know if this is right because my american geography is pretty bad but...Have you seen the poly shore movie called son in law, he goes to north dacota and Im wondering if its something like that.

Movies are never set in the midwest because absolutely NOTHING is or happens here...
