vacation...where should i go??

ok, all, here's my question for the day: where should i go on vacation?

i am finally on my own, and i have a car, and i really want to go somewhere new, just because i can. i dont have much money, and i dont know how much i will have by july when i am going. prob a couple hundred but not much more.

here's my vacationing criteria:

a) i want to go to the ocean, where it is warm. i live in WI, and i need a change of climate.

b) i want to be able to camp because i have no $

c) i would rather drive through as little big city traffic and mountains as possible.

so, coming from WI, where do you all think i should go?

Hmmm....
after considering the possiblities I suggest either Virginia, Washington (not DC, but the state itself), or northern California.

i am sorry to admit it to myself, but short of doing anything highlt illegal, there is no way i am going to have enough money by the end of july to afford gas and out of state reservations, so i think i am just going to go camping in kettle moraine for a week, and go to the oscean over spring break. but thanks for the suggestions. i will keep them in mind for spring.
