though i've never taken in IQ test, or been in a true gifted prgrm ((i was in a special reading prgrm in 2nd grade, but it wasn't a class; i've taken PSATs for 5 years b/c i scored high on a verbal seciton of an entrance exam in 7th grade, but again, doesn't really count)) or class.... i am most definitely emotionally intense.

I saw an article like that in the newspaper, and I think it makes sense. I've been in the "gifted" classes at school since like 2nd grade...and my mom is always telling me the same things your mom told you.

Heh, I hope the admins at TAU don't get mad at me for linking over there ;)

Anyway, I've only been in "gifted" programs since 7th grade because I was too lazy before that... My grades were always high enough, I just didn't want to do it... but I got tired of the idiot masses and decided to go for it. Then I hit high school and dropped back to dumb classes in everything except math... blah.
